Once a year, in the mountain villages of the Caucasus in Georgia, families gather in the cemeteries: during one whole day they eat, drink and sing -a feast in remembrance of the dead.

In the meantime, in Athens, Greece, 78years old Sofia, a Pontus immigrant from the former USSR, calls her grandson Manolis to announce some very important news: she has chosen him to take charge of her burial and of the new family grave in Greece...
